Travel Deal Tuesday (or people now also simply say Travel Tuesday) is a marketing promotion started by Hopper that showed that there were better prices on travel AFTER Cyber Monday. As this marketing technique was popular, it expanded industry-wide in the US and some travel providers in Canada have specific deals for it. However, looking at the deals last year, most are still a blanket Black Friday week promotion. There were some exclusive deals only through the Hopper app last year for some Canadian companies. Example: Transat was offering 'up to $500 off vacation packages' for Black Friday but the Hopper app had promotional fares to FLL, and MCO. Last year's deals: If you're in the market to book some travel, the best way to know if you are getting a deal is to know what the typical prices are like, and then you can know if the sale price is any better.
Just think, is that pan for 70% off at Canadian Tire ACTUALLY 70% off, or is it 'on sale' for that half the year?
